Inspired by the vibrant flavors and cultural heritage behind the restaurant's signature Peri-Peri cuisine, the design concept translates the energy, warmth, and richness of African spices into a memorable dining experience. The interior is defined by an expressive palette of earthy reds, warm ochres, deep oranges, and natural textures, creating an atmosphere that feels both inviting and dynamic.
A carefully curated combination of wood, exposed brick, handcrafted finishes, and bespoke lighting elements celebrates authenticity and craftsmanship. Local artisans played an integral role in bringing the vision to life, creating custom ceiling installations that add texture, depth, and a strong sense of place throughout the space. The walls were transformed into artistic focal points through hand-painted murals by local artists, featuring silhouettes inspired by African culture, traditions, and daily life. These bespoke artistic interventions enrich the dining experience while honoring the cultural roots that inspired the restaurant's culinary identity.
At the heart of the dining room, a custom-designed swing was introduced as a playful and unexpected feature, encouraging interaction and creating a memorable focal point within the space. More than a decorative element, the swing was conceived as part of the overall guest experience, inviting diners to engage with the environment, capture moments, and create lasting memories while reinforcing the vibrant and welcoming spirit of the restaurant.
Beyond its visual expression, the project was conceived with a holistic approach to hospitality design. The guest experience extends beyond dining, creating an environment that promotes well-being, comfort, and meaningful connection. Natural materials, sustainable building practices, abundant light, and thoughtfully balanced colors work together to establish a sense of harmony between people, food, and their surroundings.
