Initial Consult and Proposal
In the first step of our process, we offer a 30-minute complimentary consultation where we discuss your needs and goals. Afterward, we'll present you with a custom proposal that includes a detailed breakdown of the costs involved. If you choose to work with us, you can e-sign the proposal and submit a deposit to get started.

Discovery and Onboarding:
At Gull Interior Design, we understand that each person or business has unique design needs. That's why we begin with a discovery stage where we define your requirements, preferences, and long-term objectives. During the 1-hour onboarding session, we conduct a deep-dive exploration into your goals and dreams for your space. We want to understand every aspect of your project, whether it's in-person or via video call through Zoom or Google Meets.

Research and Schematic Design:
Once we have a comprehensive understanding of your requirements, our creative team creates a custom design brief that reflects your project vision, goals, timeline, scope, and budget. We also create a functional floor and furniture plan that maximizes the impact of your design and ensures a flow that serves everyone in the space. Our team conducts meticulous research and analysis to develop a schematic design, including the colors, styles, and materials best suited to your space. We will walk you through the brief and explain what you can expect in detail, so there are no surprises along the way.

Renderings and FF&E:
We understand the importance of being able to visualize your design before the work begins. That's why we provide high quality 3D renderings that offer a flawless peek and real-time view of your future space. Our renderings make you feel like you're already there, so you know exactly what to expect. We also select the FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) that work best for your space and provide sample materials when possible to give you a physical feel for your design. Every product is spec'd beforehand, eliminating guesswork regarding the material or the amount needed.

The Spec Book:
In the final step, we provide you with a comprehensive book of design plans called the Spec Book. This book is tailored to inform and direct your contractors and builders at every step of the construction process. You'll receive a PDF and CAD drawings to share with your contractor. The Spec Book includes precise ID drawings, 3D renderings, elevation and lighting plans, floor plans, and fixtures, making everything you need always at your fingertips. After the Spec Book is completed, we're available to answer any questions or concerns you or your contractor have about your design. We are as thrilled as you are to see your vision come alive.
